RESIDENTIAL SURVEYS
In order to buy with confidence, a building survey or full structural survey would be essential to identify any defects or non-compliance of legislation. Prior to completion of a property purchase, once these surveys are carried out you will have identified and established the issues and potential costs attached to remedying these.
COMMERCIAL SURVEYS
We work with our commercial clients to carry out expert assessments of a property or building. This could be in preparation to market a property, prior to acquisition or before entering any commercial lease on office space, for example. The commercial survey options that we provide are as follows:
Pre-Lease Survey – A commercial lease is usually agreed for a number of years and makes the tenant liable for insurance, repair and maintenance of the building and grounds as well as re-instatement at the end of the lease term.
Pre-Acquisition Survey – This has put our clients in stronger negotiating positions, as well as informed clients on how well a prospective purchase may fit in to their portfolio strategy.
